On Saturday, September 30, 2023, the Center for Research and Development Strategies (CRDS) and the Office for International Science and Technology Policy and Information Study jointly hosted the Science Advisors’ Roundtable 2023 at the Kyoto International Conference Center.

JST held a roundtable discussion on the occasion of the 20th Annual Meeting of the Science and Technology in Society (STS) forum, bringing together those who are playing scientific advisory roles in various ways to discuss common interests and concerns. The participants shared best practices and challenges in each country/region and engaged in frank discussions on the roles and initiatives expected of science and technology advisors/advice.
