The Department of NBDC Program held the “Integrated Database Workshop: AJACS Online 15” on January 26, 2023.

Under the theme of “Utilizing the UCSC Genome Browser,” we conducted three lectures: (1)Understanding various utilities in the UCSC Genome Browser, (2)Searching for sequences using BLAT and In-Silico PCR and analyzing expression data using the Gene Sorter, and (3)Using Track Hubs to create diagrams that compare original data with public data. A total of 78 participants from universities, research institutes, and researchers all over the nation gathered for the workshop.
