The Department of NBDC Program held the “Integrated Database Workshop: AJACS Online 13” on November 24, 2022.

Under the theme of “Getting to know, learn and use the chemical compounds and metabolome databases,” we conducted two lectures: (1) Using chemical compounds databases: PubChem, ChEMBL, and ChEBI (2) Understanding metabolism using metabolome databases. A total of 124 participants from universities, research institutes, and researchers all over the nation gathered for the workshop.

NBDC holds the Integrated Database Workshops to introduce how databases and tools can be used in the field of life science to promote the integrated use of databases in life sciences. The subsequent workshops during FY2022 will be held in December and next January.
