The Department of NBDC Program held the “Integrated Database Workshop: AJACS Online 11” on July 28, 2022.

Under the theme of “Searching, organizing and writing papers,” we conducted three lectures: (1) Finding reference and research results using academic search engines, (2) Sharing research data appropriately with data and diagram repositories such as figshare, and (3) Accelerating research process and output with reference management tools. A total of 219 participants from universities, research institutes, and researchers all over the nation gathered for the workshop.

NBDC holds the Integrated Database Workshops to introduce how databases and tools can be used in the field of life science to promote the integrated use of databases in life sciences. Workshops in FY2022 will be held in August, November, December, and next January. The theme of the next workshop in August is “Getting to know, learn and use Pathway and Image Database.” Registration is now open until midnight, Thursday August 18th.
