Michinari Hamaguchi, the President of Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) and the Minister of Innovation Development Ibrohim Abdurahmonov signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC) for collaboration between JST and the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan on 19th December 2019 at JST Tokyo Headquarters.

Further cooperative activities and personnel exchanges between Japan and Uzbekistan are expected by strengthening partnership between JST and the Ministry.
