Dr. Michael Mabe, CEO of the International Association of STM Publishers (STM), and STM member publishers in Japan visited the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) on October 24, 2019. Mr. Akira Koda, Vice President of JST, welcomed STM delegation. STM and JST exchanged information on the global trends of Open Access and data sharing as well as on their situation in Japan. Ahead of his visit to JST, Dr. Mabe gave a lecture at the JST-STM joint seminar on October 21, 2019. The seminar explored various topics related to research integrity and publication ethics, bringing together funders, academics, and those with an interest in scholarly publishing.
