Japan Science and Technology Agency is carrying out "organizing of seminars which contribute to improve Programs Officers ability" as a program of "the competitive research funding distribution organization construction support" as the FY2004 Special Coordination Funds for the promotion of Science and Technology.

The aim of this program is as follows:

1. By organizing seminars with program officers invited from overseas competitive funding organization in order to establish PO system in Japan
2. Contribution to establishment of management system of competitive research funding by utilizing the feature of each organization distributing competitive funds and by utilizing the feature of each distribution system of competitive funds.
