Developments of a New Solid State Spectroscopy by Use of Extremely High Coherent Soft X-rays

Research Project Outline

By use of an extremely coherent plasma soft x-ray laser, we construct a new solid state spectroscopy by means of nonlinear absorption process and special and temporal correlation analysis. These methods are applicable especially to ferroelectrics such as relaxors and to highly correlated electron systems such as high Tc super conductors. We can hopefully to contribute to the developments of nanotechnology that based on these materials.
