Dr. Kuroda received a master’s degree at Keio University in 1966. He received his Doctorate at Keio University as well in 1992. He served as Assistant, Department of Business and Commerce, Keio University (1966); Assistant Professor, Department of Business and Commerce, Keio University (1972); Fulbright Researcher, Harvard University (1978-1980); Professor, Department of Business and Commerce, Keio University (1982); President, Keio Economic Observatory (1991-1993); Dean, Department of Business and Commerce (1993-1997); Visiting Professor, Harvard University (1997-1998); Professor, Department of Business and Commerce (1998). He is currently Professor Emeritus, Department of Business and Commerce, Keio University and President, Economic and Social Research Institute, Cabinet Office, Government of Japan (since 2005).
