Research to Business (R2B) 2012
Innovat&Match

R2B – Research to Business 2012, the 7th edition of the international industrial research exhibition took place in Bologna (Italy) on June 6-7. The event was promoted by Emilia-Romagna region and related organizations. Since 2005, R2B is the place for industrial research ideas, results and products, where research meets enterprises and where the matching between the demand and supply for technology and innovation occurs, supporting new collaborations and business opportunities within an international and multi-sector environment.
During the event, Innovat&Match 2012, exchanges and matching initiatives took place with international participants through one-to-one meetings, which allowed us to have eleven meetings with public and private organizations in Italy and other European countries. At our first opportunity to join the event, JST booth featured eight technologies for licensing, which JST licensing experts strictly selected from 3000 patents, research results of our funding programs or universities and public research institutes throughout Japan. Thus, the R2B was a great opportunity for JST to exchange insights with international participants with an eye to bringing innovation by the novel technologies.
Eight Novel Technologies for Licensing
  1. High-performance TFT with a-IGZO (Amorphous InGaZnO4) Semiconductor
  2. Photocatalyst Releasing Hydrogen from Water
