Expectations for the Program

I look forward to seeing the formation of projects that take up STI policies head-on, working on them, and trying to produce results as well as hands-on support for researchers and policy makers.

The program is expected to promote an essential understanding of what STI policies are, what they encompass, how to maximize the effectiveness of these policies, and what and how to create innovation from individual STI projects as well as to develop methodologies for their implementation. These will be realized through the construction of comprehensive and actionable science, and through the networks and communities that are formed through a series of research and practice activities. We hope that the participants and collaborators in this program will collaborate beyond the framework of this program toward the realization of STI.
