Study on Social Receptivity of Personal-Data Ecosystem
Project Outline
Most values originate from personal services, and rich data about the service-recipient individuals should be utilized in order to improve those values. It is deriable to construct a personal-data ecosystem where social values are reinforced by concentrating the management of personal data to individuals so that individuals lead the utilization of personal data depending on their literacies and skills.
In order to realize a personal-data ecosystem with a high social receptivity, we will design methods of services and data sharing/utiliztion which allow all the participants including individuals and businesses to enjoy appropriate values (not necessarily economic ones) and escape excessive burdens and anxieties, and evaluate and test those methods by surveys on experimental fields, etc. Thus we hope to propose a social mechanism to continuously extend value creations by personal-data utilization.
