Abstract

An aggregation of organic molecules causes a reduction of photovoltaic performance owning to decline in film uniformity of organic layer. In order to solve the problem, I propose an alternative deposition method for controlling the aggregation and crystallization of organic layers. By this method, organic layers with high uniformity and without aggregation would be produced. Advantages of the alternative deposition method are, to improve photo current due to improve the mass of p-n heterojunction, and to improve photovoltage with intermediate layers. High performance organic photovoltaic cell with over 10% of power conversion efficiency is hoped to be produced by this method.
