Development of Bulk-sensitive Spin-resolved Ultrahigh-resolution Photoemission Spectrometer

@Photoemission spectroscopy is a powerful experimental technique to directly observe the electronic states of materials, but it has some problems such as surface-sensitivity and difficulty in spin-resolved measurement. The proposed bulksensitive spin-resolved ultrahigh-resolution photoemission spectrometer makes it possible to measure the spin-resolved bulk electronic structure with high energy resolution. The development of the new spectrometer is expected to contribute to our better understanding of new functional materials such as high-temperature superconductors and carbon nanotubes.
