@There is a rising interest for the detection
of a single spin; the capability of such
measurement depends on the development
of detection method of sufficient spatial
and time resolution.
In this project, we will develop a new technique
to detect a single spin with electrons in
the set up of scanning tunneling microscopy
(STM). The successful development of such
instrument will be applied to a chemical
analysis at the atomic scale and also to
the realization of quantum computing in
which a result of computation will be expressed
by a single spin.
