Novel Quantum Information Processing with Photons

Research Project Outline

The target of this research is to realize novel quantum information processing with photons ranging from elementary gates to functional tasks. We develop quantum tomography technology, which is crucial to extract the potential of "quantum information processing with linear optics" as much as possible. As a result, we realize several ideas such as C-NOT gates, single photon generators, multi-party entanglement, entanglement manipulation, and its applications.
