Identification of the mechanism of spontaneous restoration of the injured neuronal network in multiple sclerosis

We uncovered the mechanism of spontaneous restoration of the injured neuronal network in multiple sclerosis brain and spinal cord, and succeeded in improvement of the symptom. These findings establish the concept that blood vessels promote regeneration of the neurons, and are expected to development of molecular targeting therapeutic drugs.
