Abstract

The major role that small non-coding RNAs play in regulating gene expression has only recently been recognized. Among the non-coding RNAs, small interfering RNAs and microRNAs regulate various cell functions by repressing specific gene expression. My research seeks to dissect the mechanisms of these two small RNA pathways.
