Catalyst Development for Conversion of Wood Biomass to Liquid Fuels Via Gasifi cation

Research Project Outline

Biomass conversion to clean liquid fuels is one of value-added methods for the utilization of renewable resources with promising energy effi ciency. Objectives of the research are catalyst development for biomass gasifi cation to synthesis gas and single-step conversion of the synthesis gas to gasoline. The effective catalysts can make the biomass conversion process more energy-effi cient and downsized.
