Producing Highly Attack-Resistant Secure Operating Systems

Research Project Outline

This project aims to produce a highly secure operating system that bridges the gap between traditional security mechanisms and those required by modern information systems. In this project, we extensively utilize promising hardware technologies such as virtualization and security chips. In principle, we pro-vide an extensible Linux than can incorporate and cooperate various security mechanisms, and guarantee the validity of the kernel itself from the virtualization and security hardware layers.
