About us
In March 2011, JST first launched the J-RAPID program for urgent research/investigation, and especially for international collaborative research/investigation, in response to the Great East Japan Earthquake.Nepal
In response to the earthquake in Nepal in April, 2015, 13 projects were selected for funding by this program initiated by JST in collaboration with the Nepal Ministry of Population and Environment. Each project's research involved the collaboration of a team from Japan and Nepal. The research area spanned a wide field of subjects including geology, architecture and public health.Final Workshop on Nepal
