Takanori Fukushima

Tuyoshi Sekitani

Takanori Fukushima received his B. Sc. from Tohoku University, Japan, in 1992, and M.Sc. and D.Sc. from Graduate School of Science and Faculty of Science, Tohoku University, Japan, in 1994 and 1999, respectively.

In 1995, he was a Research Fellow of Japan Society for the Promotion of Science. From 1996, he became an Assistant Professor at Tohoku University. Between 2001 and 2004, he worked as a Researcher at ERATO Aida Nanospace Project of Japan Science and Technology Corporation, and from 2004 to 2011, he was appointed a Group Leader of the same project. From 2007-2010, he worked as a Team Leader of Functional Soft Matter Engineering Team at RIKEN. Since 2010, he is a Team Leader of Energy Conversion Research Team at RIKEN, a Professor at Chemical Resources Laboratory of Tokyo Institute of Technology, and an Adjunctive Professor of World Premier International Research Center (WPI), Tohoku University.
