Present post since 2003, after serving as Vice General Manager of Energy Research Lab., General Manager of Mechanical Engineering Research Lab., Corporate Chief Engineer of Power ＆ Industrial Systems Group and R&D Group concurrently, etc. at Hitachi, Ltd..

Visiting Professor (Technology Management) at Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology since 2007, after serving as professor of it since 2005. Associate member of the Science Council of Japan.
