Outline
This program is aiming to educate advanced researchers and engineering leaders in the field of Earth Resources Engineering that will support green technology for the next 30 years in cooperation with ASEAN mineral resource rich countries and Kyushu University based on the AUN SEED-Net. Many of the environmental protection technologies that support SDGs and a decarbonized society consume a lot of metals, therefore, continuous primary mineral resource development to supply them is quite essential. In such a situation, the program will explore the mineral resource potential of ASEAN countries by collaboration with the latest Japanese mineral resource exploration and development methods. Combining practical on-site learning in ASEAN with cutting-edge analytical techniques in Japan allow us to achieve the goal to educate young potential talents in both Japan and ASEAN in the field of earth resources engineering.
