The semiconductor manufacturing process is divided into two parts: front-end and back-end processes. In order to develop semiconductor human resources, it is essential for them to have a deep understanding of both processes beyond their area of expertise, and in addition, to learn knowledge about the semiconductor business and consider strategies to maintain and grow their competitiveness in the market. In this application, we will develop a training program that will enable students from Japan and Vietnam to become international semiconductor professionals in the future by combining the knowledge of the semiconductor manufacturing process accumulated at universities and technical colleges in both countries and the understanding of the semiconductor business in both Japan and Vietnam. In particular, the semiconductor industry in Kyushu has been attracting attention since a Taiwanese semiconductor company, was invited to Kumamoto, and cooperation with various universities in Kyushu is progressing. National Institute of Technology, Ube College is also preparing to open a semiconductor-related course in the KOSEN Model Course at College of Industry and Trade, Cao Thang Technical College, Hue Industrial College, with which National Institute of Technology, Ube College is collaborating. By combining the cooperation and efforts of Kyushu University and National Institute of Technology, Ube College, a brain cycle of semiconductor human resources in Asia can be achieved.
