Outline

This young talent exchange invites graduate students, undergraduate students, high school students, and young post-doctoral researchers (10 people in total) from the Thai side to Yamaguchi University for exchange with practical training on renewable energy (thermotolerant range methane fermentation, methane fermentation under reduced-pressure condition and training of metagenomic analysis of bacterial flora), which will contribute for a decarbonized society. From the Japanese side, five graduate students will be dispatched to Khon Kaen University for practical experienced training in hydrogen fermentation and methane fermentation using sugarcane leaves as a raw material for renewable energy. This exchange aims to deepen mutual understanding between the invited and dispatched students, to build a sustainable and strong cooperative relationship and to grow together as equal partners in co-creation.
