Outline

The aim of this exchange program is to establish an international network of researchers and facilitate human resource development between Japan and ASEAN countries. This collaboration aims to co-create highly original and innovative research outcomes that contribute to the realization of a sustainable society. With advances in AI technology, our focus is on leveraging new technological developments in the green field, including reducing environmental impact and promoting resource recycling. Our research internships have been expanded to include younger demographics, such as high school and technical college students. The program's goals are to “establish international workshops,” “integrate human resource development programs that inspire practical applications and social implementation,” and “provide living and research support.” By combining the development of young talent with addressing academic challenges, we aim to foster high levels of creativity within this international joint research initiative. We envision a “virtuous cycle of education and research” that creates a complementary impact on both ASEAN countries and Japan.
