Outline
Japan and Thailand are playing an important role in leading a carbon cycling society. We develop CO2 recycling catalysts consisting of coordination polymers. The Institute of Advanced Study at Kyoto University, the Department of Chemical Engineering at Kasetsart University, and VISTEC will oversee the synthesis of the coordination polymers, the evaluation of the catalysts, and the chemical/physical analyses. All the scientists, including the leaders from Kyoto and Kasetsart, are young scientists, and will accelerate their research by spending time in each other's institutes and holding joint symposia. We will also lay the foundations for promoting international prospects for collaboration in the coming decades.
