Outline
Amid the growing environmental pollution resulting from Malaysia's rapid industrial development, this proposal aims to strengthen the research ecosystem in the field of green technology. Key focus areas include research and development in water purification technologies, microplastic science, natural resource utilization, carbon dioxide utilization, supercapacitors, next-generation batteries, and fuel cells.
Building on collaborations established with Malaysian partner institutions through the Sakura Science Program, this initiative seeks to further enhance international co-authorship, particularly involving young faculty members and graduate students. Through mutual visits and in-person discussions, the program aims to foster sustained growth in the research ecosystem.
