Outline
This exchange programme involves the exchange of young researchers and international joint research between Yokohama City University and the Quantum Chemistry Group of the Kingdom of Thailand. International joint research will be carried out on ‘green technology’, a central theme in Thailand, with "the state-of-the-art multi-scale quantum hydrogen simulation and data science", developed by Tachikawa (Project leader of the NEXUS). We will invite and send young researchers and graduate students to each other and organize several ‘Japan-Thailand International Mini-Workshops on Quantum Chemistry’ (international sessions for female researchers, industry-academia collaboration sessions, and laboratory tours are also planned). This will help to establish tight relationships between young researchers in each country, activate international brain circulation and foster the next generation of excellent young researchers. We will set up a ‘Thai-Japan Quantum Chemistry Research Centre’ within each university and request continuous cooperation from quantum chemistry-related societies in both countries to develop them into stronger and more sustainable co-creation partners.
