Outline

The course will focus on the technical, legal and operational aspects of Japan's decarbonisation efforts.In particular, the participants will deepen their understanding of Japan's water management towards decarbonisation by learning about membrane treatment and high quality water infrastructure technologies in water supply and sewage systems through site visits. In Philippines, participants will learn about the current status and challenges of water treatment and agricultural wastewater treatment on the islands through site visits, and explore the applicability of next-generation membrane processes towards decarbonisation.
