Outline
This exchange program will be conducted in conjunction with an ongoing joint research project between the Tokyo Institute of Technology, Tohoku University, and the Institute of Technology of Cambodia, with the aim of fostering young human resources capable of managing water resources and the water environment from an international perspective through the deepening of environmental photochemistry and technological development. The group has previously collaborated on SATREPS and Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research, and graduates of Institute of Science Tokyo (former Tokyo Institute of Technology) are young researchers on the Cambodian side. The program will effectively combine international joint guidance of young human resources in the field of photochemistry with an educational curriculum and outputs to academic societies to develop human resources who can play an active role internationally. The program also aims to sublimate the results of this program into international projects and industry-academia collaborative projects that aim to develop management methods for water resources and the water environment under climate change.
