Outline
Specially Appointed Associate Professor Suppakitpaisarn from the University of Tokyo is participating in the JST SICORP ReNewMAP project and has initiated joint research on quantum AI with Associate Professors Bressan and Yap from the National University of Singapore (NUS). Both professors also serve as coordinators for international exchange in their respective departments, strengthening international collaboration between the University of Tokyo and NUS.
As part of this program, Associate Professor Bressan will be invited to the University of Tokyo to advance joint research with Associate Professor Suppakitpaisarn, deliver special lectures, and launch a student exchange program between the two universities. Additionally, Specially Appointed Associate Professor Suppakitpaisarn will be dispatched to NUS to give special lectures, gain a deeper understanding of NUS’s educational system, and work toward signing a memorandum of understanding for student exchange. This will lay the groundwork for internships, exchange programs, and the exploration of a dual-degree program in the AI field.
Moreover, during these exchanges, collaboration with graduate students from ASEAN countries will begin, fostering connections that aim to enable these students to act as bridges between ASEAN nations and the University of Tokyo after graduation.
