OUTLINE

AI technology, especially generative AI like ChatGPT, is undergoing rapid evolution. This evolution necessitates deep discussions in terms of research, development, utilization, and governance. Recently, cooperation between Japan and Korea has reached an all-time high. We share core values and philosophies regarding AI’s advancement. It's essential to promote AI advancement through closer bilateral exchanges and cooperation, from academia to industry, bringing more benefits to both countries.

Therefore, we held the 1st Japan-Korea Workshop on Artificial Intelligence to foster bilateral academic communications and collaborations, with a special focus on in-depth exchange of ideas between young scholars of two countries, on a wide spectrum of AI-related topics.
