The Next Generation Japanese Technology Showcase:
Global Accessibility to Japanese Innovations
from premier Japanese research institutions

This assembly was co-hosted by Nagoya University and JST for the purpose of promoting international industrial-academia-government collaborations as part of the “Strategic Development of Industry-University-Government (I-U-G) Collaborations Project (Strategic development program)” sponsored by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology.

This time presentations with a total of 13 themes were made: 5 of the themes involved physical science seeds and 8 of the themes life science seeds.

As part of the JST seeds Professor Sugiyama of Kyoto University, a Keio University lecturer Mr. Shimazaki, and Professor Sakurai of the University of Kitakyushu made presentations that included the latest research results with consideration given to their future marketing, which attracted many participants.

Consultations with some of the people in charge of foreign companies were made with some of the presented seeds. The entire assembly had high expectations concerning positive future collaborations.
