Algebraic coding theory, combinatorial structures and an application to quantum codes

Mathematical science is useful in various form in the information-oriented society. Coding theory is one of such areas and is used in information communication. In my study, I study algebraic coding theory, in particular, self-dual codes which are an important class of linear codes for algebraic reasons, together with combinatorial structures related to self-dual codes. An application of combinatorial structures to quantum codes is also studied.
