Manipulation of the core ABA signaling network to develop new class of stress tolerant plants

Abscisic acid (ABA) is one of major phytohormones and it controlls various stress reponses in plants.Previous studies identified a protein kinase family, SnRK2, as central regulators in ABA signaling. This study aims to develop new technologies to regulate SnRK2-mediated signal transduction, towards the creation of novel-type stress tolerant plants.
