Both somatic cell nuclear transfer (SCNT) and iPS technologies, which reprogram the somatic cell genome to totipotent and pluripotent states, are facing extreme inefficiency as a common problem. In this project, based on the new SCNT technology using histone deacetylase inhibitor we recently developed, I aim to develop a new reprogram-enhancing technology.
