Researchers Theme Outline

This research aims for supporting “computational history” by knowledge extraction from historical documents such as news archives or digitalized books. I plan to provide computational framework for modeling topics and their inter-relations in the collections of historical documents to extract useful information. Moreover, I also plan to study collective memory to analyze how the past is remembered and used in a society by large scale text mining.
