Energy metabolism in our biological body is well controlled by brain via nervous system and/or humoral pathway. In addition, "Time", such as intra-individual energy condition, timing of environmental stimulus and life-stage, has an impact not only on central regulation of energy metabolism but also on higher brain function, however, its each molecular basis remains unclear. In this research, I aim to investigate the role of key molecule and pathway among each tissues in inter-organ communication under physiological and pathological condition and to understand the metabo-physiological network mechanism accompanied with an element of time.
