It has been know that block copolymers self-assmble into phase separated morpholigies such as lamellae, gyroids, cylinders and spheres. In this study, self-assembled morphologies are swollen with supercritical carbon dioxide and phase transition is induced. After removing carbon dioxide from the system, polymer nanoparts with a variety of shapes and symmetries will be fabricated. This method will provide a fundamental concept for bottom-up nanotechnologies.
