Fabrication and Sensing of a Single Cell with High Accuracy by Nano-scale Cautery Knife Yoko Yamanishi

For the present study, we fabricate a high frequency nano-scale cautery knife and establish a novel cell fabrication technique. Silver nano-scale wire is used as a blade of an electric knife. Its conductivity is controlled by the self-assemble membrane insulation and used as a sensor. Our main objective is the integration of top-down and bottom-up technology and production of an innovative less-invasive cell surgery system with a wide range from micro-scale to nano-scale. This research contributes to the field of gene engineering and developmental engineering.
