Electrical generation from quantum mechanical spinning motion in a liquid metal

The research group has found a new method of power generation using electron spinning motion in a liquid metal, which proves quantum mechanical coupling between electron spinning motion and fluid vorticity. The result can contribute to realize an electric generator and a spin generator in, e.g., micro-electromechanical system free from magnetic fields.
