I intend to develop an ultrahigh-sensitive oscillator biosensor for contributing to early detection of carcinomas and Alzheimer's disease, and drug discovery for those disorders. The sensitivity will be significantly increased by removing electrodes and wires, which were necessary in the conventional piezoelectric oscillator. The noncontacting excitation and detection by the antenna allows simultaneous measurement of resonance frequencies from different measuring regions fabricated on the piezoelectric plate, providing information of many binding reactions between biomolecules at once.
