Single molecule imaging of GFP-based bright fluorescent markers inserted into domains of the proteins of interest will allow us to monitor the structural dynamics of the proteins during its function. This "Protein motion capture" method serve as a strong tool to visualize the function of proteins as well as to invsetigate the sub-molecular mechanism of enzymatic reaction within proteins.
