| Brain function is processed by a large number of neurons and synapses. In this study, I will develop novel dual two-photon laser-scanning microscopy which enables simultaneous activation of caged-compounds and fluorescent probes in living brain tissues. Using this technique, I will investigate the relationships between the location of neurons and synaptic connections, and reveal fundamental mechanisms for the operation of neuronal-circuit. |
