| In this project, a new CARS spectroscopy in THz frequency range (THz-CARS) is developed using linearly chirped broadband laser pulses, as a novel tool for the study of dynamic states of biological molecules, such as proteins. In addition, a THz-CARS microscopy system, which enables us to obtain spectroscopic images of in vivo cells reflecting dynamical states of molecules, is planned to be developed as well as in vivo cell manipulation techniques. |
