Molecular mechanism of memory formation gradually became clear using cultured neuron. However, it is not proved directly whether the proteins known to be important in synaptic plasticity in the culture, act in the same way in the living animal. In this study, I aim at technical establishment to measure modification and conformational change of particular protein in vivo by combination of latest technologies. By this technology, the relation between memory consolidation and particular proteins will be proven directly. And this technology might be applied to analyzing etiology of diseases.
