Abstract
In higher eukaryotes, a subset of mRNA-like noncoding RNAs accumulate in the nucleus unlike protein-coding mRNAs that are immediately transported to the cytoplasm. We focus on the unique characteristics of the nuclear mRNA-like noncoding RNAs, and aim at revealing novel nuclear processes regulated by these molecules.
