Abstract
To understand viral infectious diseases, it is important to elucidate relationship between viral expansion and host defense mechanisms. Recent advances in cytoplasmic virus-sensors, which detect viral RNA as 'non-self', highlight their essential role in the induction of antiviral innate immunity. In this project, I focus on how host cells sense viral RNA and initiate self-defense system.
